When I first started
momstown I knew my life would change but I didn't expect the amazing impact momstown has had on my personal life too. Its not often I walk down the street without running into someone I know. I often meet people that I watch on TV but never expected to be one of those people.

In May I pitched a show to Rogers TV Georgina and among other names Mommy Talk was one of them. When I got the call saying they were going ahead with the show, have to say I was a little surprised and excited at the same time. Having our own Rogers station in Georgina is exciting and being part of one of the shows .... no words can express how I feel.
What a thrill!!! Next was the audition.. off I went to audition for the show. The phone rang again, I was picked to be the co-host and help to produce a new show coming soon called Mommy Talk.

I was also excited to hear the host of the show. Christine Stewart is someone I know and respect in the community. She's funny and fun to be around, smart and with a background in the field she just seemed the perfect host for this show. I met Christine when I first started
momstown and she had a company called Sprouts. She would come out and do sign language demos for me in an effort to help bring awareness to momstown and all it has to offer. She has an energy that I will never have but enjoy being around.

Christine and I are now being reconnected at
Rogers TV. I've been on many of the Rogers TV Shows, starting with
Daytime, then
InGeorgina and most recently on a few occasions
Georgina Life. Now coming soon I will be back again but this time not as a guest but as co-host. I think its pretty amazing that Georgina has its own Rogers TV station and I watch it quite regular. I love that they cover local faces and local events around town.
Keeping with the community feel mommy talk wll have local guests talking about the same topics you're talking about at home. Things that effect our kids, our lives, where we live, work and are having fun, and much more.
I will keep you up to date on my
facebook fanpage. We are looking for potential guests for shows and even topics you want to hear about so be sure to
email me anytime with your ideas. As we get closer to our launch time I will let you know where to find
mommy talk on social media. Stay tuned ... lots more excitement to come!
