Fitting enough when I woke this am it was a cold and snowy day. I decided it would be fun to take some of that snow indoors to playgroup. Well maybe we couldn't build frosty before he would melt but we sure could have some fun with some of the cold stuff.
Nancy read our story today to some very excited children. When they made snowballs in the story so did we. My son was not to happy to hold onto the snow for to long as it was just to cold.
After story time for those those that no longer wanted to play with the cold snow we had some cloud snow, otherwise known as cloud dough, for the purpose of todays snowy theme it became snow. We also made some pretty cut out snowflakes decorated with stickers, crayons and glitter glue.
Of course our scholastic playgroup is not over without announcing our winner of the Scholastic book club for January. Congratulations Jenn and enjoy the book.

Love the sensory addition - great idea!
